It would be easy to treat Nasscom membership as a formality: a logo on the website or a line in a press kit. That is not how we see it, and it is not how DS Stream team approached the decision.
Nasscom is at the centre of India’s technology and AI community. It connects companies, policymakers, research institutions and, most importantly for us, the people shaping the country’s AI future. For a company whose identity is built on senior, certified expertise rather than scale, being part of this network is not optional. It is fundamental to how we want to operate in India.
Our approach has never been about building a large offshore delivery centre. It is about bringing DS Stream’s “AI DNA” into India: the same rigor, seniority and engineering culture that define our work in Europe and North America. We want to do this alongside people who are already shaping India’s AI landscape. Nasscom membership gives us a direct connection to that talent and expertise.
Connecting With The Right People
Three things drew us to Nasscom in particular:
Access to India’s AI expert community.
Nasscom’s events, working groups and forums, including gatherings such as the Agentic AI Confluence, bring together the practitioners, researchers and technology leaders shaping the future of AI. For a team that competes on expertise rather than headcount, being close to this community is a real advantage, not just a networking opportunity.
A stronger bridge to top-tier talent.
Our hiring philosophy in Bangalore has always been clear: quality over quantity. We are looking for senior professionals who can operate at the same level as our teams in Europe and North America. Nasscom’s ecosystem, from its talent development initiatives to its industry connections, helps us reach the AI Engineers, Data Scientists and ML specialists we want to bring on board. It also helps them find us.
Credibility with the clients we serve.
Many of the Global Capability Centres and enterprises we work with, particularly across Retail and CPG, are deeply embedded in India’s technology ecosystem. Being a Nasscom member shows that DS Stream is a serious and engaged participant in that ecosystem, rather than a company entering the market only for offshore convenience.

Aligned With How We Work
Nasscom membership does not change what DS Stream does. It strengthens the way we do it.
We work with Global Capability Centres and local Indian businesses through Staff Augmentation, Managed Teams and full Solution Engagements. Every engagement is anchored in senior expertise and enterprise-grade delivery. Our Nasscom membership supports each of these areas. It gives us better access to the talent needed to build strong teams, greater visibility among the GCCs and CPG organizations we partner with, and a closer connection to the conversations shaping India’s AI ecosystem.
As Abraham Sunu, our Head of India Operations, put it when we launched the Bangalore office: “Bangalore is at the forefront of AI innovation globally, and we’re excited to tap into this vibrant ecosystem of talent and technological advancement.”
Nasscom membership is a practical extension of that commitment. It is not a symbolic gesture. It is a working relationship with the ecosystem we have chosen to be part of.
Putting Membership Into Practice
Over the coming months, this membership will translate into practical activity: participation in Nasscom events such as the Agentic AI Confluence 2026, deeper engagement with India’s AI talent pipeline, and continued conversations with GCCs and enterprises building their own AI capabilities in the country.
We did not come to India to replicate an old model under a new address. We came to bring our AI DNA into one of the world’s most important AI markets and to do it alongside the people and institutions already leading the way. Joining Nasscom is one more sign that we are serious about that commitment.
